The York Theatre is thrilled to offer safe, spectacular, convenient housing in partnership with Educational Housing Services. Please note, housing fees are additional to tuition.

Dorm housing is subject to availability and we cannot guarantee that a suitable double occupancy room will be available. In other words, students may have to pay for a single occupancy room.

Subject to availability, we have dormitory-type housing in a gorgeous, 24-hour security building in Brooklyn Heights. This building is only one subway stop from Manhattan and a short ride to the York Theatre. St. George Towers was once the largest hotel in New York. The building features single and double-occupancy rooms with access to an enormous community center, communal kitchen, study room, screening room, pool tables, flat screen TVs in every room and membership to the Eastern Athletic Club next door – all included in the price.

See the video here:

Fees for double occupancy are $550 per person per week. PLUS $25 membership fee charged by housing company.

Fees for single occupancy are $750 per person per week.PLUS $25 membership fee charged by housing company.

Fees for housing must be paid separately.

(Housing fees are subject to change until payment is received.)

NOTE: Students who are 17 or older can room alone or with a roommate who is also 17 and over. For those 16 and younger, there will be a housing supervisor supplied by the York Theatre who will be staying at the residence as well.

If parents want to join their children for an extended trip to New York City, they can, obviously, "chaperone" their own children and share a room with them - but will be responsible for any additional expense.

If the dorms are not available, we recommend the Pod Hotel on 51st Street, only three blocks away from The York. We would put you directly in touch with the hotel to make your own arrangements. If you'd like to save money and double up, we are happy to put you in touch with other students. Again, the Pod hotel is only available for the COLLEGE PROGRAM.
